If you are Michigan fan you have to be feeling better today (as per my friend Dan) given a nice  win over #10 (and a bit over rated) Penn State.

If you are Michigan State you have to feel GREAT about being the first team to win 6 in a row at Notre Dame stadium, as well as making the Flubbing Irish 0-4 for the first time ever.

If you are an Ohio State coach, player or fan you feel pretty good as well although NU didn't have Tyrell Sutton at RB.

Purdue fans are smelling bowl games after joining the ranks of those giving Minnesota a whoop ass.

And the Fighting Illini must be pretty really good having knocked off the Hoosiers in Bloomington making them the favorite to be the 6th team to go to a bowl from the Big Ten.

Wisconsin avoided another bullet by coming back and beating Iowa at home. Iowa should feel pretty good playing the Badgers so tough in Madison. The Hawkeye defense should keep them in most games.

and the Not so Good feelings are...

Nittnany Lion fans have to be bummed that they couldn't stop the Wolverines for beating them for the 9th time straight. Two weeks ago, the Penn State faithful must have thought this was a sure win.

Hoosiers lost a chance to emerge as a bowl shoe-in for the first time in years...despite being a better team than in the past, the Hoosiers now have to beat all the other non elite Big Ten teams to make a bowl game.

Iowa isn't feeling much better having lost 2 straight games and already in the hole in terms of making a New Years Day Bowl which just a few years ago was a given.

Northwestern has to be feeling worse about their chances at respectability this season although when Sutton comes back they could beat one or more of the weaker Big Ten teams.

Gopher fans, the 5 that still go online should wonder if it is time to petition to leave the conference, although moving to the MAC wouldn't ensure bowl success either.

Given Syracuse shocked Louisville I think Notre Dame and Minnesota are battling as the worst BCS eligible team in the country!

My picks for the week were very so-so

3 wins 2 losses and one that chose not to pick because I have been accused of jinxing the Spartans when I pick them to win a big game!
