And we've chosen you, the fans actually US the fans. If you would like background on this situation check out Teddy Greenstein's blog/column http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/cs-070816teddy,1,7695370.column?coll=cs-home-headlines.

The net is this...the Big Ten Network now offers a number of good games for the Big Ten and most of the cable providers in the midwest DO NOT carry the BTN.

So we've picked a side, YOU!. Starting this week we will begin promoting ways you can see Big Ten football games that you might not be able to see on your normal cable/satelite carrier.  The first way we suggest is participating in Game Watch events often hosted by alumni groups. Visit www.fansofthebig11.com/gamewatch.htm if you want to get your hands on our directory of hundreds of locations around the country to watch your team.

At the same time, we encourage you to lobby your cable provider to pick up the channel and lobby the Big Ten Network to be flexible (www.bigtennetwork.com).

More coming..we are on your side!
